I. Order Placement

Once your order has been submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to you that contains information about the product(s) you ordered as well as all shipping and invoicing information. You may also see this information through our website by logging into your account. If there are any problems or faults with your order, please reach out immediately to CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com.

Deposits
  • All horticulture grow light orders will require a 50% deposit.
II. Order Processing Time

Although we cannot guarantee any specific lead or delivery time SpecGrade will take every measure to ship all orders within their respective lead times given on our web site.

III. Combining Purchase Orders

We may not be able to combine multiple orders together for shipping. If you require additional items after submitting an order, you must place a new order that will be processed and shipped independently from any previous orders.

IV. Order Cancellation

A customer is allowed to cancel their purchase order within 3 business days for a full refund. In order to cancel an order, the customer is instructed to submit the cancellation in writing via email to: CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com. No order is considered canceled without official confirmation from SpecGrade LED via Email at CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com.

V. Shipping Information

Our products are typically shipped from our facility in Columbus, OH. Any shipping costs are calculated based on the current rates published by the specific shipping carrier from Columbus, Ohio. Add your item in order to determine the shipping cost of your order.

VI. Shipping
  1. All shipments and any related additional costs are the responsibility of the customer.
VII. Shipping Times

The estimated shipping times are set by a third-party shipping company and are not guaranteed. Although the estimated shipping times are typically accurate, some extra time may sometimes need to be allotted. If you need your package in a time-sensitive manner, expedited or express options may be available for additional charges.

VIII. International Orders
  1. International orders will be shipped through FedEx or any other carrier that SpecGrade finds appropriate. However, the buyer holds sole responsibility for any duties and brokerage charges assessed by the buyer’s country’s customs service and the shipping company.
  2. If currency exchange is applicable, your credit card company will convert the charges to your local currency after it has been invoiced in US dollars. Accurate pricing is only guaranteed in US Dollars.
IX. Stock Availability

SpecGrade builds every order on a first in/first out basis (FIFO) due to the number of combinations available. Our typical production lead time may sometimes need to be allotted. If you need your package in a time-sensitive manner, expedited or express options may be available for additional charges.

X. Returns and Exchange Policy
  1. SpecGrade does not accept any returns of any lighting products unless it’s determined to be defective. If your product is defective, then a replacement will be provided in accordance with our Warranty Policy.
  2. To receive a replacement for a defective unit under warranty, email CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com for full instructions. Your request will be reviewed and, if approved, our team will issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and you will receive a replacement unit once the defective unit is received. It is then SpecGrade’s sole decision to either replace or repair the unit. If an item is returned without an RMA number, the item will be rejected and sent back to the sender. If a replacement is needed prior to the receipt of the defective product, please call us directly at 888-410-5337. If a customer requests an advance replacement, they will be required to provide full payment equal to the amount of the replacement unit. This charge will be eligible for full credit pending inspection by SpecGrade. If SpecGrade does not receive the defective unit within 25 days of the shipment of the replacement, we will not void the charge. Certain exemptions may apply.
  3. Any written quotes, be they mailed, emailed, or faxed, that have modified return/exchange policies shall govern over these general return/exchange policies.
XI. Shipment

When order is shipped from our facility in Columbus, OH every product is inspected, tested and is fully and properly operational. Receiver is required to inspect each carton for damage within 7 days of receipt and notify SpecGrade at CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com for actual and/or potential issues. SpecGrade shall not be liable to or responsible for any damages or loss for delay or default in delivery due to any cause beyond SpecGrade’s reasonable control.

Order Received Short:
  1. It is the responsibility of receiver to make note of any shortages on delivery receipt for a valid freight claim to be processed. SpecGrade is not responsible for replacing undocumented shortages.
  2. SpecGrade will assist receiver in resolving freight claim.
  3. If missing product is unable to be located SpecGrade will reship the shorted items.
Visable Damage:
  1. Refuse order and have driver make notation on Bill or Lading or receipt. Send copy immediately to CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com
  2. SpecGrade will reship order in total as prompt as possible.
Concealed Damaged Found:

If receiver finds damaged item once it is unpacked receiver notify SpecGrade immediately at 888-410-5337 or CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) will be issued for inspection by SpecGrade. If SpecGrade determines:

  1. there is no fault damages will result in prompt replacement
  2. damaged deemed to be the result of abuse or negligence will result in one of the following:
    • Give the buyer the option of ship the damaged light back in the same condition as received.
    • SpecGrade will quote the cost to repair and reship the fixture
    • Should the buyer wish to have the damaged fixture replaced in whole a partial credit will be negotiated.
XII. Pre-Payment Options
  1. The following pre-payment options are offered:
    1. MasterCard
    2. Visa
    3. PayPal
    4. Bank or Cashier’s Check
    5. ACH (Wire Transfer)
  2. The full purchase amount will be debited to your credit card once you submit your order since we build all fixtures to order.
  3. PayPal will immediately debit your PayPal account for the full purchase amount if you pay with PayPal.
  4. Mail your check with the confirmation number to our address to pay with a Bank or Cashier’s Check. Production will start on your order once we receive the payment.
  5. COD orders will not be accepted at this time.
XIII. Product Warranty

Lights Partially or Fully Fail After they are Hung.

  • Should the buyer, or a representative of the buyer, experience a warranty related issue it is their responsibility to immediately notify SpecGrade at CustomerService@SpecGradeLED.com to troubleshoot and rectify the problem. Should the issue be unable to be resolved the buyer, or representative of the buyer, will be required to return the fixture for inspection. Upon inspection SpecGrade, at its discretion, will either repair or replace the product.

SpecGrade will not be responsible for any labor, equipment rental, impact on crop or additional costs incurred by the customer associated to repair or replacement of the warranty fixture.

XIV. Product Liability
  1. SpecGrade’s only responsibility regarding products that have been proved defective by SpecGrade’s own tests is to replace or repair the products. BESIDES OUR PUBLISHED WARRANTY, SPECGRADE OFFERS NO WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE FOR FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY. SPECGRADE’S LIABILITY SHALL NEVER BE MORE THAN THE BUYER’S PURCHASE PRICE IN ANY SITUATION. SPECGRADE SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGE. The customer must notify SpecGrade of a defective product within the first 30 days after the product is delivered. This warranty is not applicable to products prone to misuse including, but not limited to; applying reverse voltage to LEDs, static discharge, overheating, accident, modifications, power surges, water submersion, or any alteration that renders SpecGrade unable to test the product. If the LED fixtures have been unassembled by the customer, then all product warranties will be voided.
  2. SpecGrade cannot be held responsible for the indirect exchange or resale of any products to any territories that are under Federal or International trade embargos.
  3. Please note that our LED products are extremely bright and customers should not stare directly into any of the lights for any reason. SpecGrade, and all of it’s employees, disclaim all liability in the event of any damage or losses including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages as a result of using their LED lighting products.
XV. Technical Specifications and Product Information

The product information and specifications displayed on this website or in SpecGrade catalogs or other printed material are subject to change without notice and are based on information from the manufacturers of the relevant products and are only displayed for reference purposes. SpecGrade, its owners and it’s employees shall not be held liable for any damage or losses including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or other losses, arising out of errors or omissions on this website or on any document published by Lighting Solutions LLC, dba SpecGrade LED.

SpecGrade estimates fixture performance using average spectroradiometric data for each LED type and is subject to change without notice. Advertised performance estimates may differ from actual photometric results. Actual production LEDs will differ from the LED manufacturer’s bin tolerance in both spectral content and radiometric flux.

Although every measure is taken to be sure that all information on our website is current and accurate, misprints, errors, inaccuracies, omissions (including incorrect specifications for products), or other errors may occur. SpecGrade does not guarantee that the content on our website, including, with no limitations, product descriptions, product availability, or photographs to be fully accurate or complete.
  2. SpecGrade reserves the right to:
    1. Correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission without liability and notify the buyer.
    2. Change the products services advertised or for sale on the website at any time. SpecGrade may also change the prices, charges, fees, product specifications, promotional offers, or any other website content without any notice and without liability to any person.
    3. Cancel, correct, or reject any order, even accepted orders, at any time for any reason
    4. Put a limit on the quantities sold or available for sale

Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that all jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding regarding this purchase order, whether directly or indirectly, (including but not limited to the purchase of SpecGrade products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio, USA. Any cause of action or claim against SpecGrade (including but not limited to the purchase of SpecGrade products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. SpecGrade’s failure to strictly enforce any provision of these terms shall not be considered a waiver of any provision or right. These terms and conditions shall not be modified by the course of conduct between the two parties or trade practices. SpecGrade’s rights and duties under this purchase order may be transferred to any party at any time without notice to you.
