ST. PAUL’S SCHOOL HOCKEY ARENA

SPORTS (INDOOR ARENA)
CONCORD, NH – JULY 2015

THE PROJECT

St. Paul’s School is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school in Concord, New Hampshire, affiliated with the Episcopal Church. The 2,000-acre New Hampshire campus currently serves 531 students, who come from all over the United States and the world. Well known for their hockey program, St Paul’s was looking for brighter light levels and reduced energy costs in their 2 ice rinks.

THE PROCESS

We retrofitted the two arenas with 147 of our next generation HBF 150W at 5000K, a setup that was designed to create much brighter, more even levels of light at the appropriate foot candle reading.

THE RESULT

If you look closely at some of the photos you could see that they were taken during the installation phase. It’s clear that the performance of the previous fluorescent fixtures falls short of the new SpecGrade LED technology. The LED have much better uniformity and energy efficiency, solving St Paul’s needs in a cost-effective manner.
